Cousin Chris, Uncle Charlie and I went sailing this afternoon through the bay and out to Lake Ontario. We never made it to Canadian waters, as I had hoped. Uncle Charlie insists that there is a barbed wire fence all along the heavily patrolled border, to keep the Americans out.
