Maybe she was expressing her displeasure at not having a sweet pair of indoor-friendly shades, a la her friend.
Just a thought.
It's possible that her lack of eyewear was what sent her over the edge. Caroline behaved absolutely atrociously. It was an all-time low for her. Even Emma was trying to talk sense to her - admonishing her against climbing on a nearby table, crawling on the floor, and shrieking and disturbing the other patrons. We ended up sitting in the car.
